Our vision is to create Eco on the Quay, a place for the community on the banks of the river Stour.

We want it to become a Space everyone can share for arts, music, events and community interest groups. Our first task is to clear the abandoned development site that was once the Thorn warehouse and transform it into a natural wildlife haven for birds, insects and plants alongside Performance Arts activities.

The project is part of the ambition of Friends of Mistley Quay to "enhance, preserve and improve the environment of the Quay" recognizing its status as a unique and historic site at the heart of the community.

We are appealing for volunteers to sign up here to our mission.and to establish our own plant pot garden and outside seating zone.We hope to stage the first events and performances from July and will offer access to individuals and groups through memberships.If you want to be involved and kept in touch please provide your details using the contact form.
